Landscape Associates, Inc.

This position is the primary resource to ensure crews are performing the maintenance work up to company standards, in a safe manner, and to customer expectations. This position is also the liaison between management and maintenance crew to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Solicits new commercial maintenance contracts for Homeowner’s Associations, industrial or commercial clients.
• Develops employees and works with employees to build and support a team environment.
• Ensures jobs are performed to company standards, safely, and that equipment is properly maintained.
• Understands basic horticultural concepts of mowing, pruning, edging, etc. and works efficiently and safely at all times.
• Ensures that clients are completely satisfied through effective communication, relationship building and regular site visits.
• Sells enhancement services in order to improve site conditions; coordinates with other company employees and clients to ensure that enhancement work is completed to specification, timely, on budget and to client’s satisfaction.
• Ensures a safe environment for employees, clients and the general public.
• Demonstrates role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting company culture.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Prefer Bachelors Degree in Ag Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant and Soil Science, Environmental Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Architecture.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer applications to support the position (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to communicate, both oral and written, in a clear concise manner.
• Ability to prioritize job duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify and resolve client concerns to the satisfaction of the client while protecting the best interests of the company.
• Strong work ethic.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
• Leadership & sales: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
