Material Handler - Weekend Shift

5:00am - 5:30pm, Friday - Sunday plus OT as needed

$17.00 per hour plus $3 shift differential

$1,000 Hiring Bonus

Job Summary:

Move componentry and finished product throughout the warehouse, ensure production is serviced at all times. Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse. Perform other duties as necessary and requested from management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move merchandise and materials within facility using powered industrial equipment and by hand when necessary
• Load and unload trucks to move product to remote buildings or for disposal/recycle.
• Perform put away tasks of componentry and finished goods
• Provide help with special projects
• Pull orders and supply materials for production
• Sweep pallets from production department.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas in the entire warehouse and assigned areas
• Maintain cleanliness and good working order of all assigned equipment.
• Comply with all safety and compliance standards set forth by Marianna.
• Communicate effectively with others on the radio and in person
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High School or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to complete tasks under pressure.
• Knowledge of proper hazardous shipment handling procedures and markings.
• Inventory control knowledge.
• Ability to lift and stack materials up to 50lbs continuously if necessary
• Ability to read, write and speak English competently.
• Ability to maintain, reliable and predictable attendance

Preferred Knowledge, Certifications, Skills, Abilities:

• Forklift license or training.
• Hazardous material training.
• Knowledge of RF Scanners, AS400.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Environmental Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment – some temperature extremes, dust, noise and wet.
