Mechanic – Cattle Ranch

Indian River County, Florida, Cattle Ranch has an opening for a full time Mechanic on its Blue Cypress Ranch. This growing entity has an excellent employee benefits package after 90 days of continuous and proven ability to perform. Daily working hours 6:45 am till 5:45 pm with one hour lunch M-F. Saturday 6:45 am to 12 noon. Our goals are team oriented with advancement opportunity within the organization. Position Duties, Qualifications and Requirements:

• Duties include mechanical repairs on various ranch equipment such as tractors, motors, other repairs within capabilities such as AC adjustments, etc.
• Perform various miscellaneous duties on the ranch.
• Requires 2+ years mechanic and general repair experience, with demonstrated solid results.
• Requires a safe work record. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Requires the physical ability to lift, climb off and on ladders.
• Requires robust health to safely work alone in remote areas of the ranch.
• Requires dexterity sufficient to effectively use hand tools.
• Requires the ability to follow both written and oral instructions.
• The successful candidate must pass a background check and physical, including a drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
