Claim Submission Specialist-Medical Billing:

Large tristate multi-specialty group practice; including 36 providers, 24 offices and 21 hospitals, is looking for a mature, highly motivated, organized, detail oriented individual for very high volume, fast paced billing office located in White Plains NY.

Responsibilities:

· Submission of electronic and paper claims to carriers daily

· Working electronic claim submission rejections

· Submitting corrected claims to insurance carriers when necessary

· Submitting claims to secondary insurance carriers

· Downloading and transferring of files and EOB denials

· Ability to work claim denials

Experience:

· Knowledge of electronic claim submission procedure

· Knowledge of general medical billing

· Knowledge of Change Healthcare a plus

· Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements

· Accounts receivable and general accounting experience required

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Organizational skills

· Problem analysis and problem solving skills

· Team member

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Time management skills are a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
