The Member Support Specialist is a key figure with Indianapolis Bar Association members in the Indianapolis legal community. This team member sets the tone for the support we strive to provide to the public and in business development support for our members. Member Support Specialists interact with lawyers, judges, paralegals, law students, and members of the public seeking assistance. As the primary contact for those visiting our beautiful downtown Indianapolis headquarters and as a team member in providing quality legal service information to the public, the Member Support Specialist plays an integral role in assisting our members. This is an entry level, full-time position with the opportunity to move up within the organization. No experience needed to apply! Because this is a public-facing position the work is done onsite at our office. The hours are ideal for many: Monday thru Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (34.5 hours)
Relationships:
The Member Support Specialist works as a team member with all departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Administration of our web-based Indy Lawyer Finder referral program.
· Produce and process referral reports.
· Foster and maintain relationships with members and donors.
· Maintain a welcoming environment.
· Manage general telephone inquiries.
· General administrative support.
EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma required
· Some college preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Comfort with online and telephone interaction. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Present a professional manner in both appearance and actions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
