First IC Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Department Manager to join our Mortgage Loan Department in Duluth,GA ! We are a fast growing, community bank serving the community for past 20 years! We are looking for another caring individual to join our team!

Major Job Responsibilities;

• Overseeing the compliance, underwriting, operations, sales
• Building and growing the bank’s reputation.
• Monitoring the growth and development of the department to ensure loan goals are met.
• Recruit, hire and train the mortgage loan department personnel including mortgage loan officers, underwriters, loan processors.
• Lead, train, and motivate employees to achieve the growth goals.
• Market and promote the bank with brokers, referral networks such as realtors, with strong attention to reputation management
• Monitor loan quality to ensure it is in alignment with the bank’s policies and procedures, and in compliance with state, regional, and federal guidelines.
• Ensure all mortgage loan department personnel follow the bank’s procedures. Policies and protocols.
• Meet and exceed production management goals, pipeline goals and new business generation goals to increase market share.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, business administration, or economics is preferred – equivalent experience accepted.
• NMLS or state licensing preferred.
• At least 3 years or more job experience in the manager position of Mortgage Loan Department/Mortgage Loan Operations.
• 3-5 years of experience in banking or real estate related industries as a supervisory role in customer services, operations, business development, or sales management
• Must be able to complete all phases of the mortgage loan origination process and have demonstrated knowledge of conventional residential mortgage loan products and regulations.
• Strong industry knowledge and advanced technical/computer skills
• Excellent judgment and decision making skills, and exceptional communication skills
