About the Mission You Will Join:

This Project Manager position will be supporting the NNSA (National Nuclear Security Administration) Associate Administrator for Information Management and Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) certification program.

Your Impact to the Mission:

  • As a Project Manager you will ensure the program and project managers have the skills and experience necessary to meet OMB Office of Federal Procurement Policy requirements for DOE Policy and oversee mission activities and functions.
  • Lead the support and management of the NNSA FAC-P/PM training and certification process by guiding applicants through the registration, training, and submission process ensuring all requirements are met
  • Create and present introductory meetings to new applicants
  • Provide in person and online support to staff to ensure certification is obtained
  • Identify and establish a core set of skills, trainings, and certifications needed to execute the IT and Cybersecurity operations and oversight for the Federal IT and Cybersecurity workforce at headquarters and the field office
  • Manage the FAC-P/PM dashboard and keep it up to date with all active members, their most current training status, certification level, and certification maintenance requirements (Continuous Learning Points (CLPs), etc.)
  • Update and provide status reports during the application process
  • Create/maintain an internal database of online resources for IT and cybersecurity occupational series to include how to apply for trainings/certifications

Experience Needed to Be Successful:

  • Demonstrate expert skill in identifying IT and cybersecurity occupational series and experience levels in applicants
  • Experience managing a dashboard and/or presenting status reports – preferability utilizing cloud-based people development software like Cornerstone On Demand
  • Proven ability anticipating and identifying areas, skill sets, certifications, and personnel requirements needed to fulfil future customer needs
  • Expert ability in creating personalized training development steps to reach desired skill sets and certifications

Basic Qualifiers:

  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree
  • Can Additional Years of Experience Substitute for Degree? Yes
  • Minimum Years of Overall Experience: 1*5+*
  • Minimum Years of Specific Experience in Field: 10
  • Minimum Clearance to Start: Top Secret
  • Work Status Allowable:* US Citizenship*
