WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN AMBITIOUS OFFICE ASSISTANT

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Office Assistant, who is looking for a varied role that will offer a broad range of experience with firms across the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will be at least 2 years’ experience in a professional office environment with a willingness to learn and adapt their skills.

Required qualifications & technical skills are:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word and PowerPoint; previous experience in operations and office administration; and previous experience working in a law firm or the financial services sector is an advantage.

Must-have criteria for this role:

English language proficiency; independent, resourceful, and confident with great problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with

Experience in administering work; Proficiency with business operations; ability to work effectively with a range of personality types and seniority levels; self-starter with a history of pushing for deadline-driven results; be able to jump in and support the team when/where needed; and lead and be one step ahead, constantly be thinking about what needs to be done next

RESPONSIBILITIES

The office assistant will work within the team to take on responsibilities including but not limited to:

provide all round administrative support to the growing team. This element of the role will be diverse depending on the needs of various projects;

managing internal databases and filing systems; implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems; managing and preparing the company billings and invoicing; assisting the Corporate and Legal teams with day to day tasks; take inventory and ordering office supplies as needed; maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment; and liaise with vendors.

SALARY

FTE - $41,000 to $50,000. We actively encourage candidates to apply who may also be looking for part-time employment or flexible working as well as those returning from a career break.
