We are seeking a 2nd shift Lab Associate for our optical lab. The schedule is Monday through Friday 4pm – 12:30am. The general responsibilities of this position are to produce quality eyewear that meets all standards set forth by the company and maintain the lab equipment per company guidelines. This position will primarily learn how to operate and maintain optical manufacturing equipment.

You will learn how to:

• Run specific machinery used to produce optical lenses

• Inspect lenses for defects from the manufacturing process
• Perform daily maintenance

While optical experience is preferred, we will provide any ideal candidate without optical experience with on-the-job training. We are looking for a candidate who has experience working on manufacturing machinery and is mechanically inclined as they will need to do repairs and routine maintenance during their shift. As this is an independent position, the ideal candidate will be a self starter who will be responsible for keeping this line operating during their shift. Having a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask is a must.

This is an hourly, full-time position with a full benefits package. The candidate must have reliable transportation to and from work.
