CSI Companies is hiring a Payment Processor for our client in Jacksonville, FL. Our client is a premier collection attorney firm with a technology edge.

Hours: Full-Time, M-F, 8am-5pm

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32216

• On-site for training at first, then position will go HYBRID with 2 days remote

Starting Pay Rate: $18-$21/hour - Weekly Pay

Consultant to Permanent: typically 3 months until conversion

What Will You Be Doing?

• Payment processing: Responsible for sorting and inputting debtor payments including review of files, to determine proper application of payments. Also includes review of checks for accuracy, completeness and to verify debtor address, and distribution of funds for SOJ and NSF fees.
• Daily deposits: Prepare daily debtor payment deposits, including preparation of deposits, and endorsing and imaging checks, completing deposit slips, etc.
• Daily payment processing deposits include: credit card, cash, money orders and split check deposits.
• Enter direct payments.
• Pull check copies as needed for staff members.
• Task list.
• Prepare and mail letters to debtors regarding post-dated checks, garnishment overpayments and dishonored checks.
• Enter ACH payments.

Position Requirements:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years general Accounting/Bookkeeping experience preferred
