Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Shovel & Drill Mechanic with our Open Pit Maintenance department.

- Safely maintain a fleet of P&H electric shovels, Hitachi 5500 hydraulic shovel, Atlas Copco, and Sandvik drills
- Carry out all scheduled maintenance, act quickly to rectify and complete repairs due to unscheduled maintenance, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives in a positive manner
- Responsible for reporting in writing a detail of work activities at the completion of every job
- Other duties as required
- Three (3) years’ experience in related field preferred
- Ability to maintain an inventory of personal tools to complete the job required
- A high level of hydraulics and electrical skills required
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds required
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, team orientated and work with minimum supervision required
- Proven safety record required
- Excellent attendance record required
- Willingness to work in adverse conditions required
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required
