Position Summary

The President of P&S and Projects is responsible for leading a group of proven leaders to increase both top and bottom line performance. This role will ensure the implementation of the strategy to achieve the agreed upon targets. Additionally, the President is responsible for developing talent and working with other business functions to implement tools and processes to support advancement of the business (i.e. performance and talent management, D&I, operational excellence, etc).


Responsibilities

  • Full P&L responsibility for the Products and Services, Projects and OnCare DA businesses
  • Lead and develop the top and bottom lines using the developed strategies of the business lines
  • Act as a member of the Board of Management of Products and Services. Participate in the Board of Management of the Projects business.
  • Oversee and lead all activities including offer to order and order to cash
  • Lead regional management activities to drive profitable growth
  • Support customers with C-suite relationships with major paper companies
  • Support and develop talent across all functions
  • Maintain and promote a safety and quality culture
  • Support global functions for manufacturing and product management
  • Member of the Voith Paper Executive team


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related fields required and MBA preferred
  • Proven leadership experience in a mid-size company
  • Experience building and leading large, complex teams required
  • Experience managing within a global business environment required
  • Experience working for an international owned company preferred
  • Experience in leading capital equipment and after market business


Physical Demands

The position requires the ability to:

  • Talk and hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate)
  • Frequently stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4-8 hours
  • Occasionally reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception and adjust focus.

Overnight travel is required at approximately 25-50%.
