Position Summary
We are seeking a
Product Owner for Data and Analytics who will be responsible for overseeing and managing product initiatives related to data such as Automation, Data Management, Data Science, BI/Analytics, KPIs, and ad-hoc Reporting.
As the Product Owner, you will provide oversight and management of products that involve implementing Data Science Models, Looker Models, Data Pipelines, and Reporting/Analysis. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business owners, data analysts, and developers, to identify and prioritize product features based on user needs and business objectives.
This role is primarily based in our Chicagoland office of Naperville IL. Our Mt Laurel New Jersey office is an option as well. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience so a regular in-office hybrid model is preferred but not required.

- Take charge of product-related initiatives such as Data Warehousing, Data Integration, BI Analytics, KPIs, and ad-hoc reporting
- Oversee and manage products involving the implementation of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Pipeline, Analytics/Dashboard/Looker/Tableau Reporting platforms
- Directly manage large-scale products while performing product administration and tracking for smaller ones
- Proactively lead requirement gathering efforts by coordinating with business SMEs, IT architects, IT business analysts, and data engineers to ensure that business analysts can transform information into Functional and Technical requirements specifications
- Author comprehensive product documentation such as product charters, budget tracker, schedule, status dashboard, and timeline visuals using Asana
- Coordinate and conduct training for business end-users
- Manage vendor relationships and lead calls with vendors to ensure effective collaboration
- Assist in creating training materials and programs
- Promptly escalate product-related issues to senior management and vendor support when necessary with discretion
- 3+ years of Product Management experience in implementing Data and Analytics Platforms, specifically in an agile environment
- Previous experience in implementations related to data modeling, and data integration, reporting, and analytics
- Systems experience (Looker/Tableau, BI/Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Lake) or relevant system
- Collaborate with both in-house and external programmers and administrators for system updates, enhancements, and associated new tool/systems
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites
- Proficiency in project management tools (Asana or JIRA)
- Understanding of Tableau, Looker, or other BI tool
