As a Program Manager on the Finance & Strategy (F&S) Team, you will work to ensure smooth execution of CEO Staff and Board of Directors (BOD) meetings as well as external reporting. This high visibility and high impact role will collaborate across the Edelman Financial Engines Organization to ensure the organization is aligned and senior leadership, our BOD and owners receive timely and accurate reporting on our strategic progress and financial results.
Responsibilities:
- Along with VP, Corporate Strategy and CEO, creates efficient processes and tools to manage all aspects of executive and external strategic reporting to CEO Staff, BOD and Private Equity owners. Including ensuring monthly operating reporting and BOD agendas and materials provide accurate and appropriate information to key external stakeholders
- Works with the CFO, to streamline processes and tools, which facilitate CFO team management and keep CFO organization and output aligned with CEO Staff and external reporting
- Responsible for creating, communicating, and documenting key takeaways and materials as well as working with teams across the organization on follow-ups
- Accountable for working with business and Finance on creating materials and content for the CEO’s executive BOD session
- Project manage special projects for CEO, CFO and others, as needed (e.g., M&A diligence/integration, cross-functional ESG coordination, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 3-6+ years’ relevant work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills; able to prioritize and manage simultaneous tasks and priorities
- Ability to influence people and resources to ensure timely completion of tasks that meet quality standards
- Willingness to adhere to established processes while keeping an eye for opportunities to improve or develop processes, structures, and systems
