Retirement Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Regional Director of Human Resources to ensure quality service from the Human Resources function. This employee reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and will support the Northern Virginia Communities. This is a high travel position, with at least 50% of the time spent on the road.
Specific areas of focus include recruitment, selection, hiring and retention of staff, employee relations and communications. Serves as project leader/facilitator on corporate-wide Human Resources initiatives and assists in the planning and implementation of company-wide benefit and HR-related service programs. Consults with communities and their Directors and management teams regarding Human Resource opportunities and challenges. Ensures compliance with RUI Human Resource Policies and Procedures. Monitors Human Resource systems and processes to ensure that Human Resource functions meet RUI standards. Works with RUI leadership to develop a positive, service-oriented culture.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources at the supervisory level or above.
- Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) desired.
- Experience in multisite company preferred.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills. Proven ability to develop positive accountable culture.
