LAFAYETTE - NEEDED surgery scheduler position open for our busy specialty medical facility.

Full-Time Surgery Scheduler needed to schedule surgeries for several physicians in our busy specialty clinic. Candidates will be responsible to review pre-op and post-op instructions with patients, coordinating with outside facilities. Also will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments to sign consents with you and request cardiac clearances when warranted.

2+ years of surgery scheduling and consents preferred

OR and/or procedure experience preferred.

Candidates must be familiar with EMR, completing surgery packets, consent forms and possess a strong knowledge of medications especially protocols for blood thinners.

This is a full-time position. No nights/no weekends.

Benefit eligible on the first day of employment. Salary competitive DOE.
