Position Summary:

Quirch Foods is currently looking for a resourceful EHS Specialist to align and ensure OSHA standards are met. Plan, implement and enforce our company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage EHS programs and procedures.
• Over compliance calendar for all requirements
• Observe safety and security procedures.
• Prepare and complete all OSHA and EHS reports.
• Suggest solutions to improve EHS issues.
• Provide Health and Safety support for site specific issues and initiatives.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of Environmental programs that comply with corporate and industry regulations.
• Perform periodic evaluations to maintain and ensure compliance with Health and Safety plans and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor (4-year) degree in business, Health and Saftey, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Great communication, interpersonal and support skills.
• Great organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through.
• Must have strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual candidates are desired but not required (English and Spanish).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
