The Center for Child Development (CCD) is committed to providing the highest quality of mental health services to children, teens, and adults as well as expanding access to mental health resources in the state of Delaware and supporting and equipping Delaware’s schools with the resources they need to effectively address the mental health needs of Delaware students. CCD has a team of highly trained clinicians specializing in a wide array of mental health disorders and treatment modalities to improve the overall quality of mental health services to Delawareans.
CCD is seeking well-qualified licensed and pre-licensed mental health clinicians to provide counseling services (in person) in New Castle County and in our lower Delaware schools. Clinician must have experience working with children. Experience in the Delaware school system is preferred. Clinician must possess strong clinical skills, knowledge about the most evidenced-based treatment practices, a high level of independence, the ability to market mental health services in schools, and provide trainings to school staff. Clinician must be available during normal school hours to complete in person counseling. CCD is dedicated to the growth of clinicians and requires clinical supervision for all staff and provides monthly training requirements as well as in-house/off-site trainings.

Job Competencies:
- A Master’s degree from an accredited university in the field of Social Work, Clinical & Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- Must have a degree that leads to licensure
Job Description:
- Provide psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults diagnosed with a variety of mental health disorders
- Conduct individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
- Implement treatment plans, administer clinical assessments, and utilize evidenced-based treatment modalities
- Commute to various schools or community centers (as assigned) in need of mental health services
- Must be available during normal school hours as well as 2-3 evenings per week
- Complete monthly professional trainings geared towards enhancing clinical skills
- Provide IOP services as needed
- Participate in weekly individual and/or group supervision (applicable to both licensed and pre-licensed clinicians)
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
