Job Summary
This start-up lab will focus on understanding how innate immune cells regulate the tumor microenvironment, control metastasis and treatment response. The over-arching goal is to discover novel pathways that can be leveraged for cancer therapeutics. Our multidisciplinary approach will incorporate mouse models, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, molecular signalling, metabolomics, spatial transcriptomics/proteomics and RNA sequencing. As a new lab, this candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the lab culture and scientific direction. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, stimulating and collaborative environment. Successful candidates will work closely with the Principal Investigator in setting up the lab, performing experiments and data analysis.
