Nature and Scope

The Senior Accountant will oversee the general accounting operations by governing and verifying financial transactions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain bank reconciliations, statements, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining general ledger, prepaids, inventory and fixed assets
• Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivables
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to CeriFi’s schedule
• Assist with external financial audits and tax returns
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status to Controller
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Other duties assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• 5+ years’ experience
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP
• Proactive and deadline driven
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team
• Strong aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Preferred Skills

• Supervisory experience
• Inventory management
• Financial reporting
• Deferred revenue and Auditing experience
• Bank Covenants
• Purchase Acquisition accounting experience
• Experience with processing ACH and wire payments

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Sr. Accountant: 5 years (Required)
• AP/AR: 5 years (Required)
• GAAP: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Certified Management Accountant (Preferred)

Work Location: Remote
