Job Description:
We’re looking for an ambitious, creative individual with a passion for art, music, design, with experience in social media management, digital marketing and content creation. It’s important for us to find someone that is creative and has a unique vision with great taste and a passion for making dope content.
You’ll be managing and creating content for Sam i, TRY, and Squeak E. Clean.
Sam i is a musical artist, DJ/Producer, who’s also a Filmmaker. TRY is a new music project recently launched by Sam i and Shmuck the Loyal. TRY has started a rollout for their debut album.
Squeak E. Clean Studios is a global creative audio network creating culture-defining soundtracks through advertising, film, television and immersive experiences with premium sound and music stylings.With studios in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Sydney and Melbourne, we collaborate with clients and our creative network of the world’s best artists to deliver innovative original composition, sound design & mix, music licensing, artist partnerships, music library, experiential & spatial sound and sonic branding.
Responsibilities:
- Develop visually compelling, relevant, and engaging content for posting to social media platforms
- Repurposing existing visual assets from BTS, music videos and artist archival footage across various social media platforms
- Create & oversee social media posts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, and eventually Discord.
- Adhere to the Marketing Calendar, creating imagery and video well in advance of the scheduled post-date. Be prepared to accept spur-of-the-moment assignments to quickly capture short-term trending concepts.
- Monitor and submit analytics weekly after posting, identifying areas of success and areas of improvement.
- Grow TRY’s online presence through audience engagement and refined traffic strategies
- Collaborate with design, music and video departments to create original content
- Exercise your creativity by identifying online trends and providing ideas for content utilizing unique captions, trending hashtags and other methods that attract engagement and discoverability.
- Be constantly learning and staying up to date on the latest social media app updates.
- Willing to use and learn new emerging platforms. You will also be able to take part in social media, marketing & styling workshops.
- Engage with fans in comment sections and artist DMs. Gather your audience’s feedback to ascertain their insights.
- Utilize social media best practices, including but not limited to implementing a well-researched hashtag strategy for your posts.
- Remain open to constructive feedback that may require adjusting content aesthetic, layouts, storyboards, pitches or pre-created content.
Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years managing relevant social media platforms or communities
- 2+ years of relevant paid campaign management experience
- Expert knowledge of developing digital strategies for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok
- Excellent ability to analyze data from social and paid platforms and make recommendations based on that data
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and collaboration with team members
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to successfully manage multiple campaign calendars
- A passion for and a deep understanding of all things social media, including established and emerging platforms, current and upcoming trends, community building, brand voice, and best practices.
- 2+ years creative experience making creative content across social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
- Excellent content creation skills, capable of leading a project from ideation through completion
- Proficiency in motion graphics, After Effects, 3D, Photoshop and Illustration
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (ex. Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut).
- Professional attitude with great time management and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced role.
- Great attention to detail.
- Work well remotely/independently without direct supervision.
- Experience with professional grade cameras, audio equipment and software experience is a plus!
