Our organization is seeking a talented and innovative Sous Chef to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop and hone their culinary skills while working alongside our senior sous chefs and assisting in recipe creation and preparation. A successful candidate will be passionate about food, have a deep understanding of culinary techniques, and the ability to organize a team of cooks in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Use time management skills to prepare food in a timely fashion.
• Calculate the number of labor hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Supervise and train other employees.
• Organize facility events.
• Make scheduled departmental purchases using a credit card.
• Be aware of all menu items and ingredients in order to prepare multiple meals at the same time; Communicate with other departments as necessary to complete tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
