Provides leadership and direction to the build team responsible for the build and maintenance of the PM and EHR applications. Oversees the administrative functions of the build team to include, but not limited to, time and attendance, PTO requests, and annual performance evaluations. Provides oversight and direction to the Clinical Content Development team which provides creative design, build and governance of athenaCollector (ePM) to include all primary and secondary tables. Also provides oversight of the creative design, build and governance of athenaClinicals (eHR) to include all primary and secondary tables as well as the development of Structured clinical templates for:

  • HPI
  • ROS
  • Well Child Exam
  • PE
  • TI

Crafts efficient processes to streamline the request and delivery of build related requests. Aides in the crafting of policies and procedures governing the build related functions. Ensures requirements for SOX audit, internal audit, legal and compliance are met in the deliveries of the build team. Ensures all practice builds are completed in time for proper project execution. Maintain standards for centralized build functions and present requests outside of the standard for review/approval.

Qualifications - External

  • Must have 4 years’ experience with PM and EHR application table builds.
  • Must possess a strong understanding of the Athena application and associated workflows.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Must understand basic Physician practice operations and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must understand how to prioritize daily workload to keep physician practices operational.
