The Sales Director, Specialty (Central)
The Sales Director, Specialty (Central) is responsible for the management and strategic oversight of The North Face Specialty Wholesale Business for the Central U.S. Region. They will be responsible for delivering brand and financial goals and positioning the brand for long-term health. This role holds ownership of executing GTM marketplace strategies for the channel.
How You Will Make a Difference:

Responsible for driving the wholesale sales growth, and continually strengthening the businesses of key strategic accounts and targeted specialty accounts across the central region

Lead network of Sales Managers to accomplish brand strategies while delivering financial goals
-
Develop and execute strategic specialty channel plans while gaining cross-functional alignment to achieve goals

Develop strong partnerships with key specialty account brand partners

Drive GTM process as leading voice of the central region specialty market

Provide key product input including segmentation and trend information to organization

Manage operations of regional sales office and showroom
How you will do it:

Partner with East and West regional counterparts to drive synergy across specialty business

Drive brand initiatives, including building a 365 business, across channel

Consistently deliver strategies focused on elevated distribution for The North Face brand

Partner with Direct-to-Consumer peers to create unified marketplace strategies

To succeed as Sales Director, Specialty (Central) you must possess the ability work in a fast-paced environment that requires a constant focus on how to evolve our business. A relationship-focused approach is critical for this role to establish strong cross-brand partnerships while partnering with some of the best retailers in America. Development and mentorship of a team to deliver results and engagement are critical.

Experience in the Outdoor Specialty industry ( this is a must to be considered) including apparel, accessories, and equipment

Previous oversight of a complex, multi-million dollar business

Strong communication skills with ability to present in front of large groups

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage projects from a remote location

Excellent MS Office application skills including Excel, Access, and Power Point

Excellent organizational skills (planning, scheduling, and budgeting)
