American Shippers Dispatch is looking for a candidate with a high pace, high volume, go-getter individual who is self-motivated to achieve results and has a clear passion for independently bringing in new business with experience in Container Drayage, Warehousing, and transportation brokerage.

American Shippers Dispatch is an asset based Drayage and Warehouse Company with a separate 3rd party logistics division that is strategically expanding and has been in business for over 10 years. American Shippers Dispatch handles Drayage, Domestic, Intermodal Shipments Project Cargo/Over Dimension or Heavyweight Ocean Container Diversions, Trans-loading of International containers. 3rd Party Warehousing, Shipper owned containers / trailers. LTL, Global logistics consultation & solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Research prospects on both the Drayage, as well as the Domestic side, and contact them to generate sales for the company.
• The candidate will be responsible for growing a book of business, developing weekly load volume with customers.
• Manage the process end to end from procuring the load, and ensuring accurate and timely submission of all administrative paperwork.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure on-time delivery and support handling any difficulties that could arise.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience as a Transportation Salesperson in Drayage and/or Brokerage.
• Strong industry experience brokering produce, and Dry freight is a bonus.
• Understands the mechanics and technical aspects of brokering.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent sales skills.
