Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking an MVP Tree Maintenance Foreman to manage our MVP Tree Maintenance program year-round. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

· Inspecting Soil Condition/Water Penetration

· Inspecting Tree Wells for Proper Water Retention

· Discussing Proper Watering Schedule with Customer for Seasonality

· Fertilization

· Disease Inspection

· Pest Inspection

· Trunk Wrapping/Painting Checking

· Inspecting Trunk Caliper/Strength and Remove Staking

· Tree Canopy Inspection

· Tree Trimming/Pruning

· Maintaining a working knowledge of our products and appropriately recommending them to our valued customers.

· Providing exceptional service throughout the customer’s experience.

· Communicating effectively in-person & over the phone to discover the customer’s wants and needs.

· Selling AND closing a customer based on their wants and needs

Qualifications:

· This position requires weekend availability and may require other duties as assigned, responsibilities may vary by location.

· Must have a clean driving record (with DOT drug & health screen) insurable with MVN’s insurers.

· Complete/pass Criminal background check.

· Experience in a retail, nursery, landscaping, or related environment preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $62,400 - $70,000 per year DOE + bonuses & commission

Experience:

• Retail/Nursery/Landscaping: 2 years (Preferred)
• Tree Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Clean Driving Record (Preferred)
