$14 / hr1.Nametags must be worn at all times.
2.To wear uniforms as indicated in employee handbook
3.The primary responsibility is to assist patrons finding their seats and giving directions to internal facilities.
4.Before the doors open, ushers should check all sections in the facility for missing, dirty and/or damaged seats.
5.At the start of an event, ushers are to station themselves on the major traffic lane leading to their section of responsibility. It is important to check the tickets for correct locations.
6.Keep aisles and other restricted areas clear.
7.Keep patrons from standing on top of chairs.
8.After the audience is seated, the staff will take up a station that permits an overview of their section where a patron if needed can quickly contact them.
9.Just before intermission, staff should move to the concourse exit most central to their section and be prepared to assist patrons.
10. Staff must be alert to shifting by patrons (moving to better seats that are vacant).
11. Staff is to be particularly alert to any problems that may arise in the crowd.
12. Never attempt to break up fights or confiscate contraband.
13. Inquiries about future events should be directed to the box office advance sales window, located on the concourse of the grand lobby.
14. After an event, staff should conduct a damage assessment and make a report to the office.
15. Staff should have all tools necessary to complete their job, including flashlights and or appropriate clothing for conditions.
16. Any lost patron should be taken to the Guest Services Booth
17. Inspect assigned area after an event and report any problems to supervisor and pick up lost items.
18. Staff should not leave their position until the facility has been cleared and they are dismissed.
19. Must be willing to be on your feet for extended periods of time
20. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
