Job description

Position is responsible for warehouse functions: receiving, picking and packing of fastener products. Must function well as a contributing member of a team and be quality focused.

Responsibilities:

• Unload shipments and verify receipt of material, type, quantity, delivery, packaging, etc.
• Complete all receiving paperwork and put away inbound receiving as required.
• Inspect products for type, size, quality and potential defects.
• Pick and pull orders and transfers as required.
• Drive forklift and order picker and other material handling equipment as needed
• Performs other special duties as assigned
• Ability to learn warehouse computer application, UPS, FedEx, and other software systems as need to perform duties.
• Secondary duties may include delivering outbound shipments in the evening to carrier terminals or hubs for same day shipping of rush order, assisting with the daily physical cleanliness of the warehouse, and assisting with the collection of recyclable items.
