Job description

Under the direction of the Marvin Operations Branch Manager, the employee accurately pulls stock and assembles material for delivery of customer orders, packs and/or palletizes merchandise, loads inventory, and maintains a safe work area. Deliver products to dealers and/or jobsites, completing daily logs of all deliveries. The employee exhibits professional and courteous behavior at all times driving on the road as well as in dealing with customers. A clean driving record will be verified on an ongoing basis using the DMV pull program.

Class A License required.

Essential Functions:

• Unloads Marvin delivery trucks
• Verifies incoming freight item count with packing list and checks for damage
• Racks and stores product in an organized and safe manner
• Accurately pulls stock from assigned areas using a forklift or cart when necessary according to customer orders
• Hand stacks, palletizes, and properly packs merchandise for safe and secure shipment
• Pulls parts and literature for small order program (SOP) or company truck delivery
• Lifts, pulls, pushes, and loads materials into bobtails or trailers
• Secures loads using straps, poles, or ropes
• Daily performs safety vehicle checks on forklifts for safety purposes
• Cleans and maintains work area free from dirt and clutter to prevent accidents and allow for safe forklift movement within the warehouse
• Completes proper paperwork to verify loading and submits to the Warehouse Manager
• Creates and processes pick suggestions
• Prints transport notes and sorts by route and destination
• Drives company trucks in heavy traffic and mountainous terrain
• Delivers Marvin window and door products to dealers and/or jobsites
• Completes proper paperwork to verify deliveries and submits to the Warehouse Manager
• Refuels vehicles at designated locations
• Operates lift gate
• Responsible for keeping company vehicles neat and tidy
• Performs vehicle safety checks and fills out Driver’s Vehicle Condition reports as required by DOT
• Maintains a clean driving record
• Works overtime as needed
• Attends safety meetings
• Performs other duties as requested by the Marvin Warehouse and Transportation Manager
