JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Data Analyst II for a very important client.

Data Analyst is responsible pulling data to support trending of product complaints and medical device reports utilizing data that resides in the complaint handling database for all product lines. This will include detailed data reports (e.g. graphs, charts, tables) prepared for routine trending, senior management reviews, ad-hoc requests, and cross-functional requests as needed (e.g. Regulatory, Quality Engineering, R&D). The Data Analyst will establish and maintain complex reporting formulas and templates using reporting tools such as Excel and other databases (e.g. Business Objects).

Primary Function
The Data Analyst role is responsible for following a complex set of steps to pull legacy audit data from various sources, and use that data to enter information into a new Audit Handling application. In some instances older reports will need to be reviewed to determine the best course of action to take when
entering data into the new system.

Job Duties In addition to data entry, the data analyst will assist with the execution of report validation activities. This may include comparison of information pulled from multiple sources. The candidate will assist with
updating and creating Power BI reports to assist with data analysis, so knowledge of Power BI is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Excel, SharePoint, and Word is also strongly encouraged. Candidate must have excellent attention to detail and ability to work well unsupervised once trained.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Will require some extensive data entry at first to get items caught up into new system.
But will require the candidate to review information to assure it is accurate.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• North Chicago, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
