The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for someone like you to help create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
As a foreign disclosure representative, you’ll bring your analytical skills and military background to work on projects for a military service headquarters. You’ll research, develop, analyze, and assess, foreign disclosure requests for the service headquarters to protect military information that cannot be shared while assisting in determining what classified and controlled information can be shared with foreign partners and allies. In general, you will be asked to review a variety of media to determine releasability, coordinate foreign visit requests, provide guidance to subordinate commands, and review regulations and correspondence for conformance with policy. You’ll help identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to foreign threats and homeland security as part of Service and Joint missions.

You Have:
- Experience with working in or for the DoD and high-level officials
- Ability to communicate professionally in oral and written forms
- Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
- Secret clearance
- BA or BS degree or 2 years of experience with working in a regional command headquarters focused on engagements with foreign partners
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in military engagements with foreign partners
- Experience in working with the Foreign Visits System (FVS) or as a Contact Officer for a foreign visit
- Experience in working with foreign disclosure, counterintelligence, or security in the DoD
- Experience as a platform instructor or on a military training team
- BA or BS degree in International Relations or a similar field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
