Category: GIS Analyst with knowledge of Defense Mapping to perform Feature Data Collection (Russian language is a Plus)

GeoData Corporation has an immediate part-time position (25-35 hours a week) working remotely, for GIS Analysts. Provide support in geospatial analysis of satellite imagery to perform Feature Data collection

DUTIES:

Feature extraction/attribution and modification of existing features.

We are looking for analysts who can do this work with minimal training and who can commit 25+ hours per week( consistently). The work is unclassified.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Geography or related field or equivalent and 3-8 years of experience.

Knowledge of Russian Language

Required Skills:

• 2 years experience with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop suite, including data vectorization and attribution
• 2 years experience in photo interpretation using monoscopic satellite imagery
• Able to understand and follow detailed guidance
• Able to clearly communicate through written (email) format

Suggested:

• 1-year experience in TDS feature data collection
• 1-year experience using Production, Defense Mapping, and Data Reviewer extensions in ESRI ArcGIS

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
