Job Description:
Coherent Technical Services, Inc is seeking a Software Analyst (junior to journeyman level) to support the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) Software Sustainment Activity (SSA) within the ATC&LS Division at the Landing Systems Test Facility (LSTF) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The role will perform the following tasks:
· Software process development and management to include process auditing, configuration auditing, and technical report writing.
· Perform activity documentation updates based on engineering and asset inventory coordinator inputs.
· Conduct procurement coordination and processing.
· Calculate software development status reporting (metrics).
· Author software version descriptions and process documentation.
· Input procedure updates on a shared repository.
Education/Certifications:
· BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in a computer science discipline, engineering discipline, information management systems, mathematics or related field with Microsoft Certified System Engineering (MCSE) Certification.
Experience:
· Would prefer a total of (3+) years of experience with preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations and testing.
· Experience writing technical publications using sources including engineering and software artifacts, developer notes, technical reports, briefs, and interviews with technical staff.
· Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
· Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
· Experience with asset management.
· Understand government processes and procedures and possess strong organization, documentation, and project management skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility. Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
Candidate must have the ability to work in a team environment; provide constructive alternatives/approaches to solving issues; be flexible; have a strong sense of urgency for critical tasks; and must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule and communicating process.
Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Pay: $50,423.28 - $100,000.00 per year
