Want to work with a cohesive team with a mission to improve the health of Idahoans within the Division of Behavioral Health? We are looking to hire a Technical Records Specialist 1 for the Twin Falls office. This position is full-time limited-service and is eligible for some telework.
This position provides administrative support to Region 5 - Twin Falls Behavioral Health team. Ideal candidates will provide technical support to the behavioral health program and organizational activities to convey information, determine compliance, and resolve difficult situations. This individual will use their expertise to provide implementation and maintenance of technical program guidelines.

This is a limited-service position. Length of limited-service appointments are determined by the availability of funds such as grants, alternative funding sources and/or timeframes such as pilot projects, alternative funding sources or program termination.
- Functions with considerable independence and exercises discretion in applying policies and procedures.
- Applies and communicates knowledge of department programs and objectives.
- Provides billing support, Navision, and P-Card.
- Provides general administrative support to clinical staff and supervisors.
- Provides front desk coverage.
- Provides phone coverage.
- Performs release of Information (ROI) processing.
Experience monitoring a records system to identify and correct errors.- Experience researching a variety of sources to resolve problems.
- Experience interpreting, explaining and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments.
- Experience entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXTRA CREDIT:

Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) products at an intermediate or advanced level. Gained by at least one year of experience where these products were used daily as part of the job requirements.
