We are looking for a Lenovo Sales Ambassador to support our Sales VAR Department.

Summary:

The Lenovo Sales Ambassador is responsible for growing Lenovo Authorized & Silver Partner revenue within our VAR business group. This role is an extension of the D&H Business Unit and a liaison between D&H, the Lenovo LPS inside sales team, and D&H sales reps managing Authorized and Silver accounts. The position requires extensive phone, teleconference, and email communication with current and prospective customers. This individual is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and technologies, leveraging their expertise and utilizing other D&H/Lenovo experts, to build, position, and sell Lenovo solutions, programs, and services to resellers.

The Sales Ambassador communicates regularly with the D&H Sales staff to ensure that internal team members understand and are able to support sales opportunities. The Ambassador also maintains consistent communication with all necessary departments regarding key vendor initiatives to grow profitable business in strategic areas of the product portfolio. This position provides specialized consultation, education, training, and sales resources to peers and external reseller partners to facilitate mutual success.

The Sales Ambassador will work with the BU Specialists to create and communicate tactical and strategic initiatives and forecasts aligned with the direction of the organization and divisional objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work with the Lenovo LPS team to activate and grow Lenovo Authorized and Silver partners via phone, email, and teleconference

· Work collaboratively with the D&H Specialist team, Inside and Outside Sales Teams to conduct outbound calls daily to prospective & current partners.

· Gain mindshare and drive awareness of vendor’s SMB strategy

· Message & drive attendance to D&H- and vendor-hosted events

· Proactively communicate & work with D&H sales teams to message and drive vendor promotions, programs, and floor days

· Identify and target resellers to grow vendor business and communicate these to the sales teams

· Work with D&H resellers to broaden depth of vendor products & educate on the vendor solution

· Manage lead development, follow-up and close business opportunities with D&H sales teams

· Grow profitable sales and market share for the vendor within D&H

· Attend trainings with D&H and vendor in person and online, as needed or required

· Interact regularly with D&H and Lenovo Field Sales Reps

· Collect and recap reseller feedback, sharing with team to help generate incremental business

· Data-mine to broaden customer breadth and product depth

· Identify, nurture, and develop new net resellers

· Enter customer orders in computer system

· Answer phone and respond to all customer requests

· Back-up Senior Vendor Sales Specialist as needed

· Act as resident expert on all specific manufacturer programs and product offerings

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Professional communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 1 to 3 years office experience
